 BETRAYED INNOCENCE flyer |
This is a twelve year-old child who islocked
away in a county jail, accused ofmurder in the
death of his own elevenyear-old cousin. They
claim he startedthe fire that took her life on
December 9th, 2005. The house was a total loss
and several other family members including Djinn
barely escaped with their own lives. But Sierra
Carranza never made it out. This young boy has
never been able to grieve for the loss of his
favorite cousin. Instead, they want to make him
out to be a cold-blooded killer. He needs our
help. He needs everybody’s help.The system is not
handing out justice when an innocent child is
wrongly accused and forced to sit in an adult
jail.
This should be no more than a case of accidental
death caused by fire. There was no murder, and
persecution of another child is simply wrong.
Rainbow, his mother, must travel for her work and
was not present the night of the fire. But she is
still a loving and caring mother who wants
justice for her young son. You can help Djinn by
signing the Internet Petition to have his case
moved to the juvenile system rather than adult.

Help keep this child, a child and do not force
him to become the adult the system wants him to
be. Twelve years old is not an adult, no matter
what the District Attorney tells you. This could
be your child. Think how you would feel and
consider what you would do if it were. Children
are not adults and it is time the legal system
stops just throwing them away behind the walls of
a prison forever.

 CANDLE LIGHT VIGIL |
A Candle Light Vigil will be held this Friday and
each Friday after between the hours of 7pm and
8pm. It will take place on the sidewalk in front
of the Monroe County Courthouse at Main Street
and Sarah Street, Stroudsburg, PA The Vigils are
being held to show support for Djinn Buckingham
and his entire family. The event is being
sponsored by the Buckingham family,
BetrayedInnocence.org and supporters of “Justice
for Djinn”
